About the event
This course starts with a live WebEx on November 6th, 2023 from 12:00-12:30pm. After the webex the 4 rise modules will be loaded into your LMS training profile. These must be completed prior to the start of the live course on November 11, 2023.
During the live course, participants will engage in small group activities discussion, lecture and case studies to examine the impact of neurocognitive impairments on the rehabilitation process and daily functioning of patients with Alzheimer’s disease related dementias. Participants will identify the remaining abilities and challenges of persons in all states of dementia and identify effective stage-specific intervention approaches. Participants will learn effective techniques for managing the behavioral and communication challenges common to each stage of dementia.
