This course offers rehabilitation therapists current evidence-based strategies and clinical decision-making skills to improve outcomes in stroke rehabilitation across the continuum of care. Participants will move beyond the treatment of isolated impairments to a person-centered approach. This paradigm shift considers the complex interactions of key systems and targeted mechanisms for a comprehensive, multi-factorial approach that physical and occupational therapy teams can implement to improve functional outcomes.
PTs, PTAs, OTs, and OTAs can expect to learn clinical applications that can be immediately applied.
