About the event
Course Description:
As physical and occupational therapists, we have embraced pain neuroscience education (PNE) as a powerful tool in shifting outdated, purely biomedical narratives around pain. Yet many patients with chronic pain continue to struggle despite strong education and well-designed exercise programs. This course explores how Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) builds on, and goes beyond, traditional PNE to more directly target the underlying neuroplastic changes in the brain and nervous system that drive chronic pain.
