This wound course will Describe process for measuring wounds.  Proper use of the MEASURE acronym to assess wound bed (Measure, Exudate, Appearance, Suffering, Undermining/Tunneling, Reassess, Edges). Identification of tissue types with pictures and group discussion. Wound terminology. Importance of ABI and how to do it. How to actually implement interdisciplinary wound care in long term setting.
