The Garrison Care Center in Lubbock, TX, is a skilled nursing facility with long term care, post-acute rehab, and geriatric outpatient therapy services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist for our in-house rehab program!

We are currently seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist for our in-house rehab program!
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and ADL physical functioning disorders, creating individualized treatment plans that meet regulatory and clinical practice standards.
- Utilize evidence-based practice and standardized assessments to support clinical interventions.
- Provide rehabilitative, skilled treatment interventions including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, and assistive device training.
- Assess patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary to meet goals.
- Work closely with families, caregivers, and the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Communicate progress effectively with the healthcare team and document outcomes according to regulatory standards.
- Provide discharge summaries and recommendations for continued care.
Qualifications:
Licensed Occupational Therapist (Required)
Open to OTs of all experience levels
