2nd Annual Olympics at LONA

Hi from the Gold medalists of LONA! We had our 2nd Annual Olympics here in LONA for the whole week of 8/18-8/22. 

1st day: Opening Ceremony, walking races with and without AD, unassisted and assisted w/c races

2nd day: Cup stacking and Nerf gun shooting

3rd day: Hungry Hippo game, ball relay

4th day: Horse race

5th day: Closing Ceremony, awarding certificates and gold medals, picture taking, August Birthday celebration, as well as a champions party with pizza! 

All disciplines worked on sitting/standing balance, BUE/BLE strengthening/AROM, w/c mobility, functional mobility, crossing midline, FMC, GMC, sequencing, safety, eye-hand coordination, cognition, following directions, proper posture, proper positioning, proper hands/feet placement, and everything Therapy works on! We all had an awesome Champions week!
