At Willow Bend Nursing and Rehab, we take immense pride in the commitment and dedication of our team members. Today, we want to shine the spotlight on one individual who has gone above and beyond in her role, making significant contributions to our facility's success. Our Assistant Director of Rehabilitation and Outpatient Coordinator, Allison Metzger, has been a true asset to our organization, excelling in her responsibilities and fostering remarkable growth in our outpatient services.


A Multifaceted Leader

Allison joined our team as an Assistant Director of Rehabilitation and recently took over the Outpatient Coordinator role at Willow Bend Nursing and Rehabilitation. Her passion for improving the lives of our patients and her unwavering dedication to our mission quickly became apparent.


Excellence in Assistant Director Role

As the Assistant Director of Rehabilitation, Allison has seamlessly integrated herself into our leadership team. She has played a pivotal role in streamlining daily operations, ensuring the highest quality of patient care, and maintaining our commitment to compliance and patient safety. Her ability to inspire and lead the Therapy staff has created an environment of collaboration and continuous improvement.


Driving Outpatient Caseload Growth

Allison's exceptional leadership and passion for outpatient therapy services have resulted in a remarkable three-fold increase in our patient caseload from June 2023 to November 2023. Her strategic vision and marketing efforts have helped us connect with the community and provide our exceptional therapy services to an even wider audience. She proactively participates in the individualized skilled care plans and diligently orchestrates the seamless transition of inpatients to outpatient status immediately upon their admission, thereby guaranteeing an efficient and patient-centered experience.


Building Rapport with Patients and Families

Allison's ability to build strong rapport with patients and their family members is exceptional. She goes the extra mile to create a caring and supportive environment where patients feel valued and understood. Her compassionate approach has a profound impact on the overall patient experience, and it fosters trust and confidence in our services.


A Team Player and Mentor

Allison isn't just a leader but also a mentor and advocate for our therapy team. She has created a positive and nurturing environment for her colleagues, fostering professional growth and development. Her open-door policy, approachability, and willingness to support her team members have nurtured a strong and cohesive rehabilitation department.
