We are delighted to welcome John Diaz, a highly experienced and dedicated Physical Therapist. With a passion for making a difference in the lives of patients and peers alike, his professional journey began in 2010 as a per diem Physical Therapist at Carmel Mountain. Seeking to stay closer to home and support his growing family, he transitioned to a full-time physical therapist — DOR at Parkside Health and Wellness in 2015, forming a strong partnership with what he calls the "Fab 5" team.
Driven by a deep commitment to continuous learning, he has acquired various certifications that have elevated his expertise and added value to the facilities he supports. These certifications include Resident Assessment Coordinator (RAC-CT), Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Geriatric Physical Therapy (GCS), Advanced Credentialed Exercise Expert for the Aging Adults, and Credentialed Balance and Falls Professional. Recently, he has been honored as the first Master Clinician of the Organization in the field of Geriatrics, reflecting his dedication to sharing knowledge and enhancing his craft.
Beyond his professional pursuits, he has also contributed to the organization by supporting the ADR TEAM and overseeing the growth of the TEAM at Magnolia Post Acute from three FTEs to 15 FTEs and seven per diems. His ability to inspire and lead has made him a true asset to the organization.
When not at work or studying, he prioritizes spending quality time with his family, affectionately referred to as the #Diazpartyoffive, which includes Sue, A.J., Princess Sophia, and J.M. His love for travel further enriches his life outside of work, allowing him to explore new horizons and recharge.
With his wealth of experience, dedication to learning, and commitment to making a difference, our newest therapy resource is ready to contribute to the San Diego United market with his exceptional skills and compassion. We are excited to have John on board.
