We had our first LONA fall festival! We had a dunk tank, petting zoo, face painting, games, and food! PT worked standing/sitting balance, standing/sitting tolerance, BLE strengthening/AROM, gait, and w/c mobility. OT worked on BUE strengthening/AROM, functional reach, grip strength, FMC, GMC, hands/feet placement and positioning, aerobic capacity, and ADLs. ST worked on sequencing, memory, language, swallowing when eating, social skills, and safety techniques.
We had a blast outside in the Texas heat with a lot of fresh air. Families of staff and our residents/patients also came to celebrate with us, including some vendors! It's a special feeling when your residents/patients reminisce about old memories with this kind of experience; it makes everything worth it! It was an experience to remember for all of us — and a good one for the LONA books!

We live CAPLICO here in Legend Oaks North Austin!
We practiced Customer Second when we incorporated our staff during the preparation as well as the fall event.
We had Accountability, making sure everyone was responsible for their patients/residents.
We always practice Passion for Learning here, with everyone willing to achieve more goals through the power of learning and experience.
We are full of Love for our staff and most especially for our residents, giving them the opportunity to explore life in different ways.
Intelligent Risk is part of the festival when trying out new things.
We Celebrate our wonderful lives daily.
We practice Ownership of all our actions to always stand proud with integrity for a job well done!
