Recruiting skilled therapists in Colorado continues to be a challenge, but we’ve been leaning into community engagement to build meaningful connections and raise awareness about the opportunities in post-acute care. Over the past couple of months, our team has been out in the field, showing up at events and creating spaces for authentic conversations.

Here are a few things we’ve done:

  • OTAC Conference – We connected with occupational therapy professionals and students to talk about the impact they can make in post-acute care. It was energizing to see so much passion for the field.

  • APTA Colorado Conference – We met physical therapists who are deeply committed to geriatric care and rehabilitation. Their enthusiasm for helping older adults thrive was inspiring.

  • PIMA Job Fair – We had great conversations with both new grads and experienced clinicians who are ready to make a difference in long-term care.

  • Recruitment Happy Hour – We hosted a casual networking event where therapists could relax, connect, and explore career paths in a laid-back setting.

  • SLP Happy Hour – This was a fun evening spent with speech-language pathologists, sharing stories, discussing the unique role of SLPs in post-acute care, and building community around a shared passion for communication and cognition.

  • Endura Therapy Hike – We took to the trails with our therapy team for a scenic hike through Colorado’s beautiful outdoors. It was a refreshing way to promote wellness, strengthen team bonds, and reflect on our mission to dignify care.

Through these events we hope to increase visibility, share our mission of dignifying post-acute care in the eyes of the world, and attract therapists who align with our core values. While hiring remains a challenge, we’re committed to staying present, building trust, and creating pathways for therapists to thrive in skilled nursing settings. If you know someone who might be a great fit for the Colorado market, we’d love to hear from you!
